We can understand how disappointed you will be after encountering the problem. However, by implementing certain steps, you can easily troubleshoot the problem. The steps are simple and easy to execute.
Restart your Eero: Try to solve the problem by restarting the Eero. The process is quite simple. You can disconnect the cable from the power supply and wait for 30 seconds. Plug the device again to the supply and wait for some time. This step will certainly fix the connectivity problem.
The LED on the Eero will first blink for some seconds, which means it is booting up. After this, it will turn solid white confirming the Eero Wifi Setup is ready to use. Now, check if the SSID is broadcasting in the Wi-Fi name list or not. If it is available, then connect devices to it.
Restart modem: When you restart modem, it will not only fix the connection issue but also improves the performance of the network. The process of restarting modem is; disconnect the power cable from the modem and wait for 1 minute. Plug the device again to the power supply and based on the model, it will take 2 to 5 minutes to boot up. If after restarting the modem, no light flashes, then it means there is problem with the power source.
Select the bridge mode on the modem/router combo device: Are you using the modem/router combo device? If yes, then we recommend you to use it in bridge mode. If you don’t know how to enable bridge mode, then read stepwise instructions from the Eero support and help link given on the main page. Continue using the internet via wired medium.
Delete the bothersome eero from the app: In the Eero Help app installed on smartphone or tablet, you can control as many Eeros you want after configuring them. Delete the bothersome device from the app and re-add it from scratch. Check if the problem is resolved or not. If the connectivity issue still persists, then read on-screen instructions from the app and delete the complete network from it.
After implementing the above-mentioned steps, you will get success and start connecting the devices again to the Eero.
